Technical Associate Producer

Sony Computer Entertainment is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Producer to join its team for PLAYSTATION Home. The job will involve assisting the production team with the planning, scheduling and day to day management of the code teams, both for the Home Client and the HDK tools. The ideal candidate should have experience in project tracking and scheduling, ideally on a complex development project. They should be extremely well organised with the flexibility to work within a rapidly changing development environment. Knowledge of programming languages, games and tools development would be important. This position offers a great opportunity within a high profile SCE project.

- Day to day tracking, updating and reporting of code schedules.
- Tracking of related dependant projects.
- Day to day progress and issue tracking.
- Organising meetings and tracking action points.

Experience/Skills

Essential
- Project scheduling software (Hansoft, MS Project or other).
- Experienced in tracking multiple sub projects in an organised manner.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organisation skills, particularly within a rapidly changing environment.
- Office software (Email, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Highly Desirable
- Programming languages and methods.
- Experience of development life cycle.
- Experience with Online Services
- QA and bug fixing procedures.
- Bug tracking software.

Useful
- Source control – perforce or other.
- Experience of Web Development
