Role Overview
The focus of this role is to centralise functionality so that code does not need to be re-written between the various Sports Interactive titles.
The Senior Programmer will also be responsible for the re-integration and testing of centralised code back into the various game platform codebases.
They will also be tasked with assisting in-house developers to switch over to using the new codebase.
Cross platform development is essential as we make products on a number of formats, including PC, Mac, Linux, PSP and iPhone.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with an experienced, talented and focused core technology team
- Liase with development teams working on the various SI titles
- Update and improve the existing codebase and centralise functionality
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience of C/C++ to industry standard
- Experience of platform level implementation
- Previous Mac/Linux development a bonus but not essential
