Senior Producer

Jagex Ltd, the UKs leading independent online games studio, is looking for an exceptional and experienced producer.
The company is going through an exciting phase in this challenging, changing market and now requires an inspirational, astute and confident individual to oversee one of our games development functions.
Reporting into the COO and working closely with the key project stakeholders, the successful candidate will provide leadership and oversee game development into full commercial products. They will also be responsible for helping to shape the overall concept, design and commercial performance of the game.

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE

*Relevant experience in a similar position within the gaming industry
*Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present enthusiastically, resolve conflicts and diplomatically address design and development issues
* Strong leadership skills, with a true lead by example approach coupled with experience of team management
*Deep understanding of the Games Development Lifecycle
*High level of interest in MMORPG’s or Online Gaming
*Hands-on, energetic style with a positive “can do” attitude
*Ability to identify trends in the entertainment industry in order to anticipate strategies relevant to RuneScape;
*Knowledge of player behaviours, motivations and profiles;
*Knowledge of game development methods and practices, with an understanding of game design oriented to multiplayer environments;

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE

*Managing a large development team, and closely oversee all project management and development planning efforts
*Looking after the evaluation and evolution of production processes, ensuring maximum creativity and productivity within the development team
* Reviewing detailed milestone deliverables and ensure they are fully achieved whilst reporting project progress to the Chief Operating Officer
*Ensuring our game development teams are working effectively towards business goals by providing them with operational support and inspirational leadership
*Ongoing appraisal of team members performances, helping them work towards their own continuous personal development and team objectives
*Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and external partners
