Motion Editor x 3 (Contract Role) |  |
Working within the animation team, required to meet demanding targets in a high pressured full production environment. Responsible for editing motion capture performance data, implementing game-ready animation from Layout/Block-out to final pass.
Responsibilities:
- Efficient in processing of data through game pipeline.
- Working closely with design team on planning and creating blend trees
- Creating Layout/Block-out pass performances via hand-key or motion capture.
- Motion editing performance data to final pass, pose matching, loops, blends etc
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of the motion capture and game pipelines.
- Good understanding of creating blend trees and animation flow of game data.
- A solid understanding of traditional animation principles (timing, weight etc) and how they relate to motion captured performance
- Working knowledge of the character technical pipeline
- Proven experience working with motion editing toolsets, layering motion through additive edits. etc
- At least 3+ years experience in game/feature production.
- A passion for enabling delivery of world class performance, right through the pipeline
Specific Skills:
- Autodesk Motionbuilder or other equivalent software.
- Havok Behaviour – preferred but not essential
